Camera surveillance policy
JumpYard’s policy for camera surveillance.
Camera Surveillance Policy
At JumpYard we are always working to improve. An important part of our improvement work is our camera surveillance where we can use the material to learn and benefit from accidents that have occurred, to learn how these can be prevented and avoided in the future.
JumpYard’s parks are equipped with camera surveillance to increase the safety and security of our guests, our staff and to protect our assets. Surveillance takes place;
– In the park – or in other areas where activities take place – capture incidents of damage with the aim to:
1. learn more about how and why accidents and injuries occur so they can be prevented.
2. use recorded incidents for insurance, medical and/or training purposes
3. monitor staff behaviour before, during and after accidents for improvement and training purposes.
– Of the entrance and reception area in order to increase security and to follow up any burglary, theft or robbery.
Summary
JumpYard strives for openness and transparency in how we collect, process and share your personal data. As a complement to our Data Protection Policy, we have established this policy for camera surveillance regarding our parks within the EU/EEA (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iberia). The legislation governing how camera surveillance may take place is set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is also regulated in Sweden by the Camera Surveillance Act.
Our parks are equipped with camera surveillance with image recording and, in some cases, audio recording. If a person can be identified through the recording, the recording constitutes personal data.
The purpose of camera surveillance and the processing of recorded material is to prevent and investigate crimes, accidents and vandalism, and, where appropriate, to assist police authorities and prosecutors in the event of suspected or established crime. The purpose of camera surveillance is to increase the safety and security of our guests, our staff and to protect our assets.
The legal basis for us processing your personal data in connection with the camera surveillance is through a so-called balance of interests in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) of the Data Protection Regulation.
We have made the assessment that the need for camera surveillance is greater than the intrusion into personal privacy that camera surveillance may entail for you as a guest. Our assessment is made with particular regard to the fact that there are accidents that we want to prevent for the safest possible guest experience in our parks.
Furthermore, we have ensured that only a limited number of people have access to the recorded material and will only use the recorded material for the purposes stated above.
Recorded material is only kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the recording was collected under this policy, but for no longer than 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted.
We may save the material for longer than 30 days if it is necessary to comply with legal requirements or to safeguard legal interests, for example if there is a legal process underway.
Your privacy is very important to us. We have ensured that only a limited number of employees have access to the recorded material. Your data may also be processed by so-called data processors, i.e. companies that we engage for surveillance, security, camera systems, fault reporting and customer support. These parties may not use your personal data for any purpose other than to provide the services they have been hired for and only on the terms we specify.
The recorded material is stored in countries authorised under the GDPR. Data may also be processed by police authorities, e.g. in the event of a police report or fulfilment of a legal process.
You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. You also have the right to request that we rectify or erase your personal data. In addition, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data and also the right to object to us processing your personal data.
If you believe that we have breached the rules on the processing of personal data or have other concerns about personal data, you can contact your national data protection authority.
